Overview:
Timothy graduated with First Class Honours in Chemistry from The University of Queensland (UQ), for which he was awarded the Wilmar Sugar Prize in Chemistry for achieving the highest standard in the program.  His PhD with the Fairlie Group (UQ Institute for Molecular Bioscience) is currently focussed on the conformational dynamics of GPCR ligands.

Prior to joining the Fairlie Group, Timothy undertook research in organic chemistry at UQ’s School of Chemistry and Molecular Bioscience.  He designed and executed the first asymmetric total synthesis of the natural product EBC-329, and has solved x-ray structures for multiple peer-reviewed publications.
