Overview:
Hugh Marman’s research work has focused on using computational modelling to characterise and understand complex biological systems. In parallel to modelling, he has undertaken experiments at world-leading synchrotron facilities in Europe and the USA.

Hugh takes a fine-grain approach to analysis and planning, exercising strong attention to detail. He has developed strong soft-skills and excels at communicating complex ideas in an understandable way. Following the completion of his PhD, Hugh plans to work in a data science capacity within the rich Melbourne biomedical research industry.
