MIR HADI SEYEDZADEH
Effects of Matrix Properties on Tumour-Specific T cell Responses (PhD)
Prof. Katharina (Kat) Gaus
Hadi Seyedzadeh is doing his PhD in the lab of CI Prof. Kat Gaus and Dr Jesse Goyette in the Single Molecule Science at the UNSW Node. Hadi achieved outstanding 2nd rank in Medical Immunology national exam in Iran, and he became a member of the Iranian National Elites Foundation. He finished his MSc in Medical Immunology at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. In 2018, he was awarded a University International Postgraduate Award by UNSW to undertake his PhD.
He mainly uses flow cytometry and HTS confocal and widefield microscopes to investigate the difference of immune responses to lymphoma in different in vitro environments, including a new 3D cell culture using 3D bioprinter.
Hadi is interested in optimising the efficiency of killing potential of the immune system against cancer cells and hopes to continue his research as a postdoc after finishing his PhD.
