Prof. Brian Abbey
Dr Connie Darmanin
Hugh Marman’s research work has focused on using computational modelling to characterise and understand complex biological systems. In parallel to modelling, he has undertaken experiments at world-leading synchrotron facilities in Europe and the USA.
Hugh takes a fine-grain approach to analysis and planning, exercising strong attention to detail. He has developed strong soft-skills and excels at communicating complex ideas in an understandable way. Following the completion of his PhD, Hugh plans to work in a data science capacity within the rich Melbourne biomedical research industry.
