PulseDC – A plasma-dynamics approach to atomic damage calculations in biomolecular XFEL targets

Supervisor’s name:

Prof. Harry Quiney

Overview:
Alaric Sanders is a masters student in the Quiney laboratory at The University of Melbourne Node. He is currently working on plasma dynamics in low-Z XFEL targets. He has volunteered for the Melbourne Space Program and the SkyHopper project.

For future work, he is interested in pursuing topological phases of matter, topological soft condensed matter dynamics of lipid structures and plasma dynamics in rarefied gases.
